The film, manufactured by KODAK\u2014the original inventor of Super 8 film\u2014is available in five different versions:<\/p>\n\n
The KODAK Ektachrome 100D<\/a> is arguably the best-known, classic type. It is a color slide film with a sensitivity of 100 ASA that can be viewed directly in a projector after development. Important for veterans: Unlike the amateur films that were common in the past, Ektachrome 100D is not optimized for artificial light, but for daylight. Therefore, when shooting outdoors, you should not use the daylight filters that were commonly used in the past. <\/p>\n\n In addition to Ektachrome 100D<\/a>, KODAK offers the Vision3 color negative film, which is available in three different sensitivities\u2014as Vision3 50D<\/a> with a sensitivity of 50 ASA, optimized for daylight; Vision3 200T<\/a> with a sensitivity of 200 ASA, optimized for artificial light; and Vision3 500T<\/a> with a sensitivity of 500 ASA, also optimized for artificial light.<\/p>\n\n Last but not least, there\u2019s the KODAK Tri-X 200D\/160T 7266<\/a>. This is a black-and-white slide film with a sensitivity of 200 ASA, optimized for daylight. <\/p>\n\n All five films are 15 meters long and are available in standard Super 8 cartridges.<\/p>\n\n To have the films developed, they can be sent to ANDEC Filmtechnik<\/a>.
