It uses selected, post-treated raw materials and is absolutely identical in formulation. To the best of our knowledge, this statement currently applies to no other para-aminophenol-based developer on the market that was manufactured after 2010. <\/p>\n
RODINAL is the world\u2019s oldest photochemical patent. The concentrate has a virtually unlimited shelf life\u2014even though the bottle slowly becomes discolored after opening. Once diluted, it must be used quickly, as it rapidly loses effectiveness in dilutions greater than 1+25. Although there are development instructions circulating from the last century claiming that an ADOX 25 ASA film developed in Rodinal at a 1:200 ratio using static development would miraculously reach 400 ASA after 3 days, but we think any chemist would likely file this theory away under \u201ccuriosities.\u201d <\/p>\n
ADONAL\/RODINAL differs slightly from APH09\/R09 in that it has a slightly finer grain.
