The ADOX Supersafe features an optimized red spectrum.
It can be screwed into any E14 socket and is therefore also suitable as a “replacement bulb” for a conventional AP or Paterson darkroom lamp.
The red protective cap can then be omitted if desired.<\/p>\n
Standard darkroom bulbs cause a haze on photo paper at a distance of 1.5 meters and under direct illumination after approximately 3 minutes.
After 20 minutes under direct illumination (significantly brighter than incandescent bulbs or conventional lamps), no haze was detected (Ilford and ADOX MCC).<\/p>\n
