The new ADOX SCALA Kit consists of just two components (plus an optional stop bath), which greatly simplifies the reversal process. Simply mix the developer and bleach in a 1:1 ratio with water, and you’re ready to go.
The ADOX innovation in the new SCALA process lies in the complete elimination of dichromates and other corrosive or highly hazardous substances, making this kit the only reversal kit in the world that can be shipped by mail.
In addition, after three years of development work, we have succeeded in stabilizing the liquid bleach solution so that it remains usable for 16 weeks after opening and for another 8 weeks even when diluted. This means you can truly get at least the specified 8 films out of the SCALA Kit.

Concentrates for preparing 2,000 ml
The kit can process any black-and-white film using the reversal process, but only films with a higher silver content and a clear base produce truly beautiful slides. Most black-and-white negative films have a gray base, so the highlights will be blocked. The kit has been optimized for ADOX SCALA films, but the ADOX CMS 20 II also produces excellent results when processed as a slide film.
