Eight years ago, KODAK discontinued the popular Ektachrome E 100 color slide film. In doing so, the former photography pioneer responded to the decline in demand for analog photographic supplies. Other manufacturers did the same by removing products from the market, scaling back their product lines, and/or raising prices. But just as other manufacturers are responding to the now-rising demand for analog photography supplies, KODAK, too, recognizes the renaissance of classic photography and is delighting fans of analog film with an expansion of its product line: After the 36-exposure 135-format Ektachrome E 100 was reintroduced in 2018, the newly reissued Ektachrome E 100 roll film in 120 format is now also available again. In addition, this film is also set to be available again as 4×5-inch sheet film. We don’t yet know exactly when that will happen, but we expect it to be within the next few weeks.
