Global trade is stalling—and this is also affecting our ability to deliver

Although we always place orders with our manufacturers many months in advance, delivery times are currently long for a variety of reasons.
A major problem is the shortage of raw materials (affecting, among other things, film, paper, and chemicals). On top of that—even when goods are actually available—there’s a shortage of shipping containers (for goods from the Far East, such as photo printers and their consumables). These containers are currently stuck on the other side of the world, where they aren’t needed as urgently. We are certainly doing our best to minimize this problem through early and very large pre-orders.
Nevertheless, delivery bottlenecks are occurring, so we have to temporarily ration some items or put them on backorder. We ask for your understanding in this matter.
