Darkroom lamp, suitable for direct lighting and significantly brighter than conventional lamps.
The ADOX Supersafe features an optimized red spectrum.
It can be screwed into any E14 socket and is therefore also suitable as a “replacement bulb” for a conventional AP or Paterson darkroom lamp.
The red protective cap can then be omitted if desired.
Standard darkroom bulbs cause a haze on photo paper at a distance of 1.5 meters and under direct illumination after approximately 3 minutes.
After 20 minutes under direct illumination (significantly brighter than incandescent bulbs or conventional lamps), no haze was detected (Ilford and ADOX MCC).
