Kinetronics Static-Wisk cleaning brushes are particularly well-suited for cleaning sensitive surfaces while simultaneously dissipating any static charge present. The smaller brushes are ideal for removing dust from films or lenses without damaging the coating. Larger surfaces, such as picture frame glass, scanner glass, monitors, acrylic surfaces, or plastic surfaces, can be cleaned of dust and lint using the larger brushes.
The brush is made of a blend of highly flexible natural fibers and conductive synthetic fibers, and features a handle made of conductive plastic.
After cleaning, the treated surfaces are electrically neutral, meaning they do not attract new dust particles. For extremely difficult cases, some brushes are also available with a grounding cable, which ensures particularly effective discharge.
Dirty brushes can be washed without affecting their antistatic properties. The brushes can be used at temperatures up to 65°.
