MULTIGRADE is a rapid developer for all black-and-white papers, including those with both PE and baryta bases. It is based on a developer combination of Dimezon S and hydroquinone. It produces exceptionally clean results and has a very long shelf life. It produces a neutral black tone on most papers.
The Multigrade developer was designed specifically for Ilford Multigrade papers. However, it is also ideal for papers from other manufacturers.
